Hangzhou China has a lot of ancient history mixed in with modern, high-tech commercialization. Internet industry titans like Alibaba and other high-tech companies are headquartered here. The Hangzhou Songcheng Song Dynasty Theme Park takes us way back to the past showing how Hangzhou was in the ancient times with royal courtesans, princes, princesses and showing daily life in the olden days (i.e., 11th century – years 1001 to 1100), which was over a thousand years ago. It’s amazing to see the historical depiction of beautiful Hangzhou, the people, culture, food, beliefs/thoughts and activities back in ancient times. This place really took us back in time and is a major attraction for both foreign tourists and local mainland Chinese visitors.
