Macau is just a short 1-hour ferry ride from Hong Kong and known as the Las Vegas of Asia. It has actually surpassed Las Vegas in casino gaming revenue in recent years to a point where many are now calling Las Vegas the Macau of North America.
Jordan and Jacob’s grandparents in Hong Kong get complimentary rooms at the Venetian, Parisian and other resorts there. It seems like every time we visit Hong Kong there is also a short visit to Macau as well. Why not? It’s close by, there is delicious food there, many sights and sounds, swimming for the kids at the casino resorts, and a chance to win some money gambling! Whole family enjoys it when we are there.
