Liliha Bakery has been around for a long time and has multiple locations on the island of Oahu. Some locations have a restaurant diner that serves both bakery items and local food dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On a recent trip, we had the pleasure of tasting their poi mochi donuts (thanks Aunty Gloria & Uncle John)! These baby teether-looking donuts were lightly sweetened and pillowy soft and chewy. My younger son Jacob loved them so much that we had to buy some to bring home to California. I hear their chantilly coco puffs are good as well, and we will certainly try that next time and also eat some of their locally inspired meals at their restaurant diner.
